Under TCPA there are several words that must allow the end user to opt out (Stop, End, Cancel, Unsubscribe, Quit). Does Ushur account for this already?
Hi @jenna.wayton! Yes, Ushur is TCPA compliant. We have standard optout words in the platform (STOP, OPTOUT) and well as optin (ALLOW, START, OPTIN).
You also have the ability to customize your organization’s optin/out words. For example, adding variations for the word STOP - stop, Stop, etc. However, you should carefully consider when adding custom words to make sure they would not be used in a normal customer reply. For example, you wouldn’t want to use “Stop” if “Stop payment” was one of your service options.
